Maha Mrityunjay Temple, world's largest 126-foot-tall Shivalinga
Maha Mrityunjay Temple is a Hindu Temple shrine dedicated to Hindu God Shiva situated on Nagaon Assam India. This Temple is newly constructed and completed on Feb 2021. Temple has world's largest 126-foot-tall Shivalinga, this feature is made it unique and very attractive for the devotees. Construction of temple was initiated in 2003 by Acharya Bhrigu Giri Maharajas, this place he was used to meditate and according to him demon guru Shukracharya performed Maha Mrityunjay (Mantra) religious rituals here in ancient times as per mythological beliefs. Basis of this thought Acharya Bhrigu Giri Maharajas had chosen this place for temple construction (Pran Pratishta). The initial planning for the construction started in the year 2003 but after several attempts by other architects and engineers,the final engineering and design work was carried by Er.
