NAGULA LAKE: A HIGH ALTITUDE LAKE TAWANG | ARUNACHAL PRADESH

Nagula Lake is a high altitude lake near to Tawang, which is located at an elevation of about 4300 meters above sea level. This is a must-visit picturesque destination for the nature lovers. The beautiful reflection of the mountain peaks on the pristine water of the Nagula Lake and the scenic beauty of the surroundings is just mesmerizing. The lake is frozen almost all times apart from the summer months of April to May and during September and October. Brahminy ducks can also be seen in plenty around Nagula Lake. This area also has a high military presence due to its proximity to the international border. There are roads to reach to this place and plenty of international tourists come to visit the lake lately. Even though the military presence is highly essential to ensure national security, the army is taking care of an eco-friendly approach around Nagula Lake while thinking of new constructions and roads.
